Memberships
Have you considered joining a local sub-Branch? Online applications are accepted via RSL NSW, or alternatively, download the membership application and drop by our sub-Branch Memorial Hall during opening hours and have a chat to our hard working volunteers who can assist you with the process.
Service Member
A Service Member is any former or current service member of the ADF or Armed Forces of its Allies. Please refer to Appendix B of the RSL NSW Constitution to view eligibility criteria if your service has been for fewer than six months.
Fees: Former and current service member: Although membership to RSL NSW is free, Sussex Inlet sub-Branch asks members to contribute a nominal annual fee. The sub-Branch retains this fee, which assists us in covering operating expenses and meeting our charitable purpose.
Follow the links below for more information from RSL NSW, or to download a membership application form.
Auxiliary Member
RSL Auxiliaries were founded on fellowship and a desire to care for veterans. This principle guides their existence to the present day.
Similar to RSL sub-Branches, RSL Auxiliaries are non-political, non-sectarian organisations. They raise funds for the well-being of current and ex-serving members of Defence and their families. The members of Auxiliaries also visit veterans in hospital, in aged care and those convalescing at home, assist with sub-Branch commemoration activities, fundraising and often provide meals for sub-Branch functions and events.
Members enjoy the friendship of like-minded people, interacting with other Auxiliaries, and being able to share ideas and ideals.
